After 20 years living in & around Bondi Beach, in 2014, Sian moved to Potts Point in Sydney with a view which typifies Sydney itself.
Her first project in her new studio was entering Australia's most famous Portrait prize - The Archibald Prize.

In 2016, Siani painted the view of her balcony studio, eschewing 'chocolate box' imagery for one which added adding drama to the sky in her typical style.
More of these are shown under 'Paintings' in the Artworks menu.
Joan Miro has been - and still remains - an inspiration to me.
His work has been interpreted as Surrealism, a sandbox for the subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike, and a manifestation of Catalan pride.
These shots are from the Joan Miro' s museum (Fundació Joan Miro) established in his native city of Barcelona in 1975.
My type of bull-fighting.
One of many wonderful pieces not only at the museum, but throughout Parafrugell... on sidewalks & roundabouts, by pedestrian squares & cafes - everywhere.
They really appreciate art here.
